Filter Assets

You can filter assets using any (or all) of the following filter parameters:

  • Type: Refers to the type of multimedia (for example, audio, video, images, PDF, and so on).
  • Publish Status: Refers to the status of an entry, whether it is Published or saved as a Draft.
  • Tags: Filters assets on the basis of the labels attached to them.

These filter parameters help you locate your assets easily.

More filters

Until now, all the code files of assets were available under the Document filter of the asset tab section. To facilitate a smooth filtering experience of code, executable and zip files in assets, Contentstack introduces three additional filters — Code, Executable and Archive — in the asset tab section apart from the existing filters. These filters are also available while searching for assets in the global search.

With these newly added filters, Contentstack now allows you to filter all the code files with Code filter. For example, JSON, CSS, HTML files that were displayed under the Document filter section until now are shifted to the Codefilter section. You can look for all the executable files under the Executable filter section. For example, “.exe” files are available under the Executable filter section. You can look for all the zip files under the Archive filter section. For example, “.zip” files are available under the Archive filter section.
