Delete an Asset

Warning: If you delete an asset, it will be removed from all web pages it is a part of.

Contentstack allows you to delete an asset when you no longer need it.

To delete an asset from the stack, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:

1. Go to your stack, and click on the “Assets” icon on the left navigation panel. You can also use the shortcut key “A”(for both Windows OS and Mac OS users) to access the assets menu.
2. Click on the asset that you want to delete.
3. In the asset details page, click on the “Delete” icon located at the top right corner of the page as shown below:
4. To confirm your action, click on Delete again to delete this asset permanently.
