About Stacks

A Stack in Contentstack is a centralized repository that stores all the content and assets for a project. It provides a structured workspace where teams can collaborate to create, manage, and publish content efficiently.

Note: Only the Organization Owner or Admin can create stacks and invite users to collaborate.

Key Features

With a stack, you can:

  • Create and manage content: Build structured content using content types and entries.
  • Upload and organize assets: Store and manage images, videos, and other files.
  • Define workflows: Set up approval processes to streamline content publishing.
  • Automate actions with webhooks: Trigger external events based on content updates.
  • Collaborate with teams: Invite users and assign roles with specific permissions.
  • Scale Content with Multi-Branching: Use Branches to create separate copies of content for development, testing, or localization.
  • Publish Content Across Channels: Distribute content to websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms by setting up environments and publishing rules.

Stacks empower teams to work efficiently, maintain content consistency, and scale their digital experiences effortlessly.
